Next Gig:

Friday 1 August, from 6pm - TBC, CAMBRIDGE
Cambridge Folk Festival

I'm hoping to get to play at the Cambridge Folk Festival again this year, but won't know 'til the day, so if you have tickets, look out for my posters detailing if and when I'm playing at the Club Tent. Posters put up about 5pm-ish.

Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June 2008, 2.30pm - Henfield, just outside BRIGHTON

Henfield Gardens and Arts Festival

Enjoy a laid back afternoon at the Henfield Gardens and Arts Festival weekend! Sit on the grass, drink tea, eat cake and listen to favourites and new tunes from Catherine’s albums and forthcoming album. Lots of gardens to visit, a wide varitey of musicians to listen to and unusual quality arts and crafts (and plants!) for sale across the village. For more info see www.henfieldgardensandarts.org

You can pick up a free blue pamphlet in the village which gives you a map to guide you around the village gardens and lets you know what's on where. I'm playing in Garden 34 on Saturday from 3pm and Garden 6 on Sunday from 2.30pm.

Tuesday 27 May 2008 - BRIGHTON

THE JOOGLEBERRY PLAYHOUSE, BRIGHTON
(14-17 Manchester Street, BN2 1TF, Tel: 01273 687171) www.joogleberry.com

I’ll be performing 3 or 4 songs with other quality hand-picked acts. The reviews rate "Can u Joogle?" as one of the most popular and exciting nights out in Brighton - so should be an enjoyable night out where you get to see other bands/acts as well. They do good food at the venue too. Free entry.

Tuesday 8 April 2008, 7.30pm - BRIGHTON

THE JOOGLEBERRY PLAYHOUSE, BRIGHTON
(14-17 Manchester Street, BN2 1TF, Tel: 01273 687171) www.joogleberry.com

I've been invited back to play at the Joogleberry, but this time to do a 40 minute set in their Live Acoustic Lounge. There'll be two acts - and it starts at the very civilised time of 7.30pm. The venue does good food - so you might like to have dinner there whilst you watch! Free Entry too!

Monday 10 March 2008 - CAMBRIDGE

THE BUN SHOP, CAMBRIDGE, CB1 1HL

This should be a fantastic evening! I feel very lucky to be playing there! Benji Kirkpatrick is special guest (rising star on the folk scene, one third of Faustus and founding member of "Bellow Head") and joining him will be Stu Hanna from Megson and also one of the folk scene’s biggest stars (that's all I can say at the moment)! Benji Osborne and host Dave Streatfield will also do sets.

The Bun Shop is a great little intimate venue, which does good, cheap food. Check it out at www.acousticroutes.co.uk/cafe.html
This will give you a full address and a link to a map.

Entry is £4 (there's a £2.50 discount off your meal price for diners).

Overall though, I'm pretty much concentrating working on my next album at the moment. When it's completed you'll see more of me again!

The reviews rate "Can u Joogle?" as one of the most popular and exciting nights out in Brighton - so should be an enjoyable night out where you get to see other bands/acts as well. They do good food at the venue too. Free entry (I think!).
